Opened in 1959! Lots of great ambiance suitable of an historic restaurant. I had chile rellenos and the chilis are from Hatch. Red chilis! Yum. I’ve had rellenos all over the country. These were the best I’ve had. The sides were pinto beans and hominy with some green chile. Very good. Les had an enchilada, tamale and a taco. Also very good. The background music was really enjoyable. Excellent service. This will have to be on our must stop places when we take Route 66.

We stumbled onto this little gem and had one of the best breakfast of our 8,000 mile trip. Delicious tamales and chorizo skillet. YUM YUM. The atmosphere was hometown and friendly. There is a little shopping area inside where you could pick up some local goodies. It was reasonably priced, the service was good, and you felt like one of the gang even though we are from Florida. Highly recommend the stop, plus an added benefit is getting to drive on a piece of Route 66!
